Diablo 2: Resurrected has officially launched, and while we haven't seen an official ladder season yet, a large number of players are rushing into Sanctuary to slay demons. She can deal a significant amount of damage to single monsters and mobs, and her ability to farm the Secret Cow Level with extreme efficiency can often result in large sums of money in a short period of time. It will walk you through the leveling process, gear selection, where to magic find, and more to ensure that you get off to a good start in Amazon.

The Amazon is a strong starting character who can deal a significant amount of damage even without a lot of high-end equipment. This makes her an excellent candidate for raising cows for the purpose of harvesting items, runes, charms, and gems, many of which will launch you on your way to great wealth. While the Amazon isn't quite as versatile as the Sorceress or Paladin — for more information, see my Buy Diablo 2 Resurrected Items Paladin build guide — she does have the advantage of being able to source key gear at a lower cost.

In this guide, I'll be focusing on the Javazon build, which relies on Charged Strike and Lightning Fury to get you through Hell. These late-game abilities, on the other hand, are not immediately available. When you complete the Den of Evil quest in Act 1, you will receive one free respec per difficulty. You must speak with Akara in order to receive your optional respec; if you choose to do so, all of your attributes and skill points will be reset and must be reassigned. These free respec points are extremely valuable, so only use them when absolutely necessary. As you progress through the game, you will earn a large number of additional skill points for completing quests. Feel free to put these points into whatever skills you believe are causing the most damage to your team.

You should keep up with your beginner skills and continue to pump points into Charged Strikes, Lightning Furys, Lightning Bolts, Lightning Strikes, and Power Strikes if you're causing enough damage to be able to move quickly through the game. When I'm playing on a PC, I use Charged Strike on the left-click and Lightning Fury on the right-click. Make sure to invest one point in the Pierce skill, as well as one point in each of the other three skills: dodge, avoid, and evade. If you want to summon a Valkyrie companion, you can do so for one point as well. Despite the fact that {anchor} is jam-packed with terms and statistics, not all of them are as important to the Amazon as others. It is especially important to have increased attack speed, faster hit recovery and faster run/walk speeds, as well as resistances, dexterity, and vitality.

Having more life means you'll be able to survive for a longer period of time in battle. This comes as no surprise. Because of the way Lightning Fury and Charged Strike work, you won't have to worry as much about pumping Dexterity for Attack Rating (AR). While the physical portion of the attacks does appear to be based on AR, the lightning portion does not appear to be. Make sure you have enough to outfit your chosen equipment; javelins, for example, can require a significant amount of money. If you want to use something like the Stormshield shield, which is a one-of-a-kind item, you'll need to put more points into Dexterity. Here, the more the merrier.
