Stick when catch and take or post fade. Button from anywhere in close. Works for NBA 2K21 MT Coins me but it took a little practice. Isn't it harder to select your layup if you utilize button? I have always struggled with these controls and used stick for layups. I would really like to be shooting at 40% but I am blessed if I can hit 20%. I only play offline. I understand we've scrub players at this time, and I am a below average player but seriously even layups which are in the middle of the meter are not going in. I do not even dare to try out a jump shot. The AI seems to be absurd levels as well. I understand they wish to reward ability in 2k21 however this type of material will really put off casual players and those new the 2K franchise and also new to basketball games.
I have been enjoying since 2K13 but I have never been that great of a player. My starter players've never played with this bad at 2k16,17,18,19 and 20. The only other 2K I played 2K20 was 2K13 and that was on PC. I improved a hell of a lot in 2K20 to the point where I really could go as large as Superstar without using STS. However, this is a whole new level with a completely different mechanic. I did fine in the demonstration and in the quickgames with the brand new shooting meter but can not hit the side of a barn .
Only played with the demo, but the stick was much more reliable than button to get me. I have been a button guy also. . . Genuinely shooting 2/16 within an offline triple hazard game on just layups and 1 open jumpshot which airballed on slightly early. Spent $100 with this bullshit lmao. Person that the shooting is extra nice right now but that I would recommend shot time like appearance for the que on the cartoon.
Yep I'm having trouble with it as well. Launched a game on My group going 0/12 overlooking open 3s and midrange shots all around the place. I am all for Cheap NBA 2K21 MT them toning down shots being almost automatic but the machine looks a tiny bit too unforgiving so far. Hopefully will begin to get better after a few more matches of becoming used to it. The game just came out and we have ta brand new meter using slightly different time.
